Privacy Policy — Omnibus Price Compliance

1. Who we are

Omnibus Price Compliance ("the App") is developed and operated by Acme sas ("we", "us", "our"), VAT 04576370615, Italy. Contact: acmedigitalagency@gmail.com.

2. What data we process

When you install the App on your Shopify store, we process:

- Your store domain (the .myshopify.com URL) and the access token Shopify issues, used to authenticate API requests on your behalf.

- Product and variant data: product titles, variant IDs, current prices and compare-at prices.

- A historical record of price changes over time, generated from the above.

The App does not collect, process, or store any of your customers' personal data (names, emails, addresses, orders, payment information). It only reads product-catalogue and pricing information.

3. Why we process it

The sole purpose is to track the price history of your product variants and to display the lowest price of the last 30 days on your storefront, helping you comply with EU Omnibus Directive 2019/2161 and its national implementations (e.g. Italy's D.Lgs. 26/2023).

4. Legal basis

We process this data to perform the contract between you (the merchant) and us — i.e. to provide the service you chose to install.

5. Where data is stored

Data is stored in PostgreSQL databases hosted by Railway, within the EU/EEA region. Access tokens are stored securely.

6. Data retention

Price history is retained for as long as the App is installed. When you uninstall the App, all your store's data is permanently deleted within 48 hours, in line with Shopify's shop/redact requirement.

8. Your rights (GDPR)

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing acmedigitalagency@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

9. Customer data

The App does not access or store your customers' personal data. Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact) are implemented; since we hold no customer personal data, there is nothing to return or erase for the first two, and shop/redact deletes all store data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email.
